Manga Entertainment to Release Street Fighter II V

Manga Entertainment has announced the domestic release of Street Fighter II V. This
1995 Japanese anime television series, a prequel to the popular movie,
follows the early exploits of a younger Ryu and Ken. As they travel the
world in an attempt to improve on their training, they encounter such
notables as Guile, Chun-Li, Sagat, and Fei Long.
The
TV series will be released in ten volumes, monthly, by Manga Video,
starting February 25, 1997. Each tape will contain 3 episodes and will
retail for $19.95 (dubbed) or $24.95 (english subtitled).
US Manga Corps to Release Battle Arena Toshinden

For one year, Master Swordsman Shinjo Eiji has been hautned by the memory of
his battle with the renegade champion, Gaia--a battle that was cut short by
the malevolent syndicate known as "The Organization." Worse still, Eiji
walked away no closer to finding his long-lost brother, Sho. Now one year
later, someone is hunting down the champions of the Battle Arena--and it
looks like that person may be Sho. At last, the ultimate battle between the
greatest fighters in the world will be decided. But if Eiji loses, his
friend, Ellis, may die...
The
first volume, containing episodes 1 and 2, will be available 4/15/97 in
dubbed format on either VHS or CD-ROM. Also available will be a package of
all six volumes, retailing for $199.70.
