GHOST SWEEPER MIKAMI GOKURAKU DAISAKUSEN!!

Overview: Mikami Reiko is a money-hungry, gorgeous female ghost buster, aided by her sex-starved and underpaid male assistant Yokoshima Tadao, as well as kind and gentle female ex-ghost O-kinu.
  This issue: Yokoshima is once again facing Ashtaroth, who has told him that Luciola is dead. Yokoshima refuses to believe that, and fights on. Meanwhile, Maria and Mikami's body (with O-kinu inhabiting it) arrive at the scene. In the confusion, Yokoshima, at the prompting of Luciola's spirit, leaps into the dimensional egg that Ashtaroth had been guarding. Yokoshima converses with Luciola's spirit as he travels, promising to resurrect her as well as Mikami. But Luciola turns his attention to the now-enraged Ashtaroth, who has followed him in.


MAJOR

Overview: It has been 4 years since Honda Goro put together the Mifune Little League. Now, in junior high school, he is reunited with his old friends and is faced with a new baseball crisis....
  This issue: Honda and Satou (but not Komori) have survived to the last stage of the Kaidou baseball entrance "exam." Teamed up with three others, they face the challenge of winning a "game" with five people against five. Honda is unhappily stuck playing the outfield. He watches as his team's pitcher ignores Satou's signals, which costs them two points. Satou reorganizes them when he points out that a five-person baseball team can only survive with teamwork and strong leadership.

Overview: Kunimi Hiro is a high school ace baseball player, facing friend Tachibana Hideo at a rival high school.
  This issue: Hikari's mother has just died, so Hiro, Hideo, Haruka, and all the others attend the funeral. Later, at school, Hiro leaves as Haruka and Atsushi discuss the upcoming season. In the men's room, he remembers Hikari's mother and how she had been a friend and a comfort to him through his early boyhood.


RECCA NO HONOO

Overview: Recca is a fire-wielding high school freshman ninja. He and his friends, who are aligned with the four elements, are up against a new evil.
  This issue: Kurei awakens with nightmares of Mori and Renge ringing in his mind. Neon, who has been caring for him, is overjoyed to see him awaken. She comforts him and suggests he stop fighting and live in peace, and even offers to stay with him forever. But Ura-uruha "Maa-kun," a monstrously huge enemy, has tracked them down. Kurei snaps as Ura-uruha tries to kill Neon; he turns back into cold, fire-ninja Kurei, for whom there is no rest from peace.


KARAKURI CIRCUS

Overview: Masaru is a grade school boy who is the heir to a vast fortune. Shirogane, a French woman who controls a powerful puppet, is his bodyguard.
  This issue: Masaru, Shirogane, and the circus crew have gotten involved in a tense hostage drama at a bank. With their circus skills, Nori and Hiro (both in love with Shirogane, who also reminds them of their late adoptive mother), help end the conflict. Afterward, Shirogane slaps Masaru for foolishly risking his life, and Masaru, seeing her anguish, apologizes. Shirogane also praises Nori and Hiro for choosing to help the hostage (a young mother) over Shirogane. As the event draws to a close, Nori and Hiro realize that Masaru is a lot like a younger brother to them.


DANDOH!!

Overview: Dandoh is an earnest young boy who has found a calling in golf. With his friend Yuka and Shou, he uses sincerity and determination as his guides for becoming a pro-golfer.
  This issue: Dandoh has at last gotten a clue as to his mother's whereabouts. He has traveled to the town of Shiomasu, from where his mother had sent a private letter to his father and sister. After he inquires at a post office and is turned away, he overhears the story of his mother. Long before, she had been a truck driver who had accidentally killed a man and his son. Torn by guilt and the anger of the surviving wife, Dandoh's mother had deprived herself of her own happy family life and had come to this town to make a living. For ten years, she had faithfully been sending a monetary remittance to the surviving wife of the accident. Dandoh spends the rest of the day waiting by the post office box, but by nightfall his mother has still not come.
