Charles McCarter: I'd have to recommend SOUL CALIBUR for the sheer quality, innovativeness, and replay factor. And because Lizard Man is cool.

Scanner: CHUCHU ROCKET! This game is cute and fun for up to four players. Save your mice! Get them to your rocket! Steer away the evil cats! Praise ChuChu Fever and watch out for the switcheroo. Wild wacky and zany, and if you know how to configure it you can play over the internet with people in Japan. Maybe we will see this released in the U.S.? Some rumors indicate it is possible.

Kenneth Lee: STREET FIGHTER III W IMPACT (Double Impact) for Dreamcast (Import). Capcom Japan's beautifully animated fighting series finally reaches 'part 3'! Imagine all the classic, solid game play of the true STREET FIGHTER series, except 100% remade. The entire game is redrawn and originally created for the new Capcom CPS III arcade board, which allows for many more frames of animation per move. The effect is nothing short of stunning: Imagine watching / playing an anime fight scene and that is what you get. Silky-smooth animations, large, beautifully drawn characters and fun gameplay with tons of depth.

Mark Johnson: Since I have every single domestic RPG out currently on any system, my next on my wish list is a Dreamcast with SOUL CALIBUR and GET BASS (with a fishing controller). I played both of the games at E3 and decided that I must have these eventually. Either that or a pre-order on a PlayStation 2 (and that would handle my Region 2 DVD problems).

Eugene Moon: GRAN TURISMO 2 for PlayStation. Eagerly awaited, this follow-up to the smash hit includes more cars, more tracks (some based on actual tracks around the world), slightly improved graphics, and other improvements. No racing fan should be without this game.

Edward Kwon: DEAD OR ALIVE 2 for Sega Dreamcast. The NAOMI board powered, hotly anticipated sequel to Tecmo's underrated model 2 fighting game and lost Saturn classic, was enough to motivate me to buy an imported Dreamcast system.

Kenneth Cho: GET BASS for Sega Dreamcast. Mock me all you will (POKÉMON fans are disqualified) but let me live in my own fantasy world. I live in Chicago for chrissakes. It gets cold here in the winter (really??) and I would love to be in the Keys fishing for tarpon... if only I didn't get seasick.

Maria Rider: RESIDENT EVIL 3 for PlayStation. Jill Valentine is back in a chilling conclusion to RESIDENT EVIL 1. Raccoon City is yet again plagued with zombies and Jill must fight her way out to escape the horror. The best in survival horror!

Ivevei Upatkoon: VIRTUAL ON ORATORIO TANGRAM for Sega Dreamcast, with Twin Sticks. This game went on sale Dec 9th, and the reason it's on this wish list is because, with the Twin Sticks that are the controllers, it makes for a damn impressive gaming experience. The original VIRTUAL ON (TANGRAM is the hyperkenetic sequel) was a truly innovative concept in 3D gaming that was intuitive and simple, and yet possessed of incredible depth. To be honest, I rather miss the first VIRTUAL ON, and would give anything for a DC version of that as well.

Keith Rhee: CHRONO TRIGGER for PlayStation. One of Square's better RPGs, this Super Famicom classic is now available on PlayStation, with anime cut scenes and other niceties to sweeten the package. And once you're finished with this, pick up the sequel CHRONO CROSS, which takes place 20 years later.

Rika Takahashi: DRAGON QUEST 7: WARRIORS OF EDEN for PlayStation. If your friends can wait until early next year or so, and find a way to defeat the latest and apparently most gruesome anti-mod protection, I would suggest DQ7 (scheduled for release in Japan Q1/1999). I have never been disappointed with a DQ title, and thanks to the immensely customizable job/ability system, I can spending hours and hours perfecting all of my characters to my liking.
