It's that time of year again, time to say goodbyes to a few series, and hello to a few fresh faces. To start the year 2000 on a strong note, JUMP welcomes the return of two great artists—Araki Hirohiko (JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE) and Umezawa Haruto (BØY)! Araki will start his new series, STONE OCEAN, in issue #1. JOJO fans take note; this will be JOJO part 6! As for Umezawa, his new series, BUREIMEN, will start in #2. To make room for these series, SURVIBEE ended last issue (#51), and MEIRYOUTEI GOTO SEIJUROU ends this issue.

HUNTER x HUNTER
by Togashi Yoshihiro
Started in #14, 1998 (6 volumes available)

Overview: Gon is a boy who dreamt of becoming a Hunter just like his father Ging. Now that he and his friends Clapika and Reolio passed the Hunter Qualifications Examination and became Hunters, they went their separate ways in search of finding the answers to the questions that led them to become Hunters. Gon and Kirua had their fun at the Heavenly Arena, where Gon was able to fight Hisoka, and went back to Whale Island to visit Gon's "aunt" Mito. There, the two boys found a message from Ging—a challenge for Gon to find his father. Meanwhile, Clapika hasn't been spending his (her?) days idling...
This Issue—No.067. House of the Human Body Collector (1) - While Gon and Kirua were at the Heavenly Tower, Clapika was able to acquire Nen powers on his own. He asks the guild for a client with connections to the auction that will soon happen in Yorkshin. The guild replies with a gun freak, an ancient china collector, and a human body collector. Clapika chooses the body collector... and at the orientation, is shown to a room with many others. There, the client hands everyone a list of what he wants within one month—if they bring back even one item from the list, the bringer will be hired. Clapika is upset that one of the items on the list is an eyeball from the Kuruta clan—frozen in scarlet red, but remains calm on the outside to be able to infiltrate the "industry" and get rid of them all. The client has one more condition: he only hires people that are strong enough to escape from the mansion alive.
