INUYASHA

Overview: Kagome is a modern student teamed up with the strange boy Inuyasha in 15th or 16th century Japan, seeking to retrieve the fragments of the magical Shikon No Tama, and trying to stay one step ahead of the evil Naraku.
This Issue: Inuyasha's sword, made from his father's fang, has been broken by Naraku's third offspring, the mind-reading Goshinki. Inuyasha himself falls, and Goshinki knocks down Miroku and turns to eat Kagome. But suddenly, Goshinki senses intense joy from Inuyasha, who was supposedly down and out. An Inuyasha who has lost his human qualities, who now has the eyes of a full supernatural, evil being, rips into Goshinki with an unholy joy. What has happened to him?

JAJAUMA GROOMING UP!

Overview: Although originally a city boy, young Kuze Shunpei has taken to working as a farm hand at the Watarai racing horse breeding farm; he also has taken to Watarai Hibiki, one of the Watarai daughters.
This Issue: The Arimakinen race is coming up. Shunpei is fretting over his upcoming wedding—after all, he can't afford a nice diamond ring for Hibiki. Meanwhile, Yuu is studying the races, figuring out how to win his next one. Back at the ranch, Hibiki tells Sunpei not to strain himself for a present, and Shunpei, being a guy, can't just accept her request for restraint. He's thinking of resorting to a little horse race betting, at Ume's suggestion.
