MAJOR

Overview: Honda (Shigeno) Goro, from his early years in grade school, has
been striving to become a professional baseball player like his deceased father.
Now, in Kaidou high school, he is facing new challenges.
This Issue: Goro has been given the official boot from the school,
despite his victory, and he has even learned whyit has much to do with the
ace pitcher son of the director of the baseball program (and Shizuka's brother), who
died living the fiery style of baseball that Goro himself embraces. Now, when
Shizuka realizes that Goro is off to see her father, for some reason she declares
he must be stopped. She, Satou and others race toward the main school. Meanwhile,
Goro has already arrived and meets Chief Manager Egashira Akifumi, a man with a
calm demeanor but a fast and hard punch, which he uses on Goro. Only the top players
are allowed to meet the director of Kaidou's baseball program.

TENSHI NA KONAMAIKI ("A CHEEKY ANGEL")

Overview: As a young boy, Amatsuka Megumi was magically transformed into a
pretty girl. Now a totally gorgeous high school student, s/he and friend Miki are the
only ones who know this, and are busy fending off his/her admirers.
This Issue: Megumi, in Osaka, has wound up getting involved in some
criminal activities, between a woman thief and what looks like gang activities in a
warehouse area. When some of the bad guys come across her and the thief, they are
stopped by Fujiki, whose moment of glory lasts only briefly until he's
KO'd. Megumi defends him from both attackers and the scorn of
the thief, but she is "rescued" once more when another of her "knights," Genzou, appears.

KARAKURI CIRCUS

Overview: Masaru is a grade school boy who is the heir to a vast fortune.
Shirogane, a French woman who controls a powerful puppet, is his bodyguard. Far away,
their friend Narumi is becoming embroiled in an ancient battle against evil living puppets.
This Issue: Rain has brought the Nakamachi Circus to a grinding halt.
Everyone says there's not much to be done about it, but Masaru won't give up. He heads
over to Ubukata Houan's place to beg for a circus tent. There, he discovers just about
every other Nakamachi Circus member has already been by to do the same thing, including
Shirogane, who is still sitting and waiting for a "yes." The ornery old man gives in,
insisting he won't help set up, but at last the incompetence he sees draws him in. The
tent is eventually set up. Meanwhile, Narumi, Guy and Lucille are on an airplane over
the Pacific... and behind their seats stand dark, ominous shadows...
