STONE OCEAN (JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE PART 6)
by Araki Hirohiko
Started in #1, 2000

Overview: Joline, the daughter of Johtarou (the hero from JOJO part 3), was framed by an unknown identity and convicted of a crime she did not commit. Johtarou tells her that he is going to help her escape. However, a sniper named Jongari-A is after their lives, and according to the mysterious little boy in the baseball cap, the half-melted bone is her key to escape. It seems as though the Cujoh family managed to crush Jongari-A into pieces...
This Issue—Act 16. Loss of Consciousness - Joline wonders why the little boy can move about, and about the bone he handed to her. The kid tells her she shouldn't let go of it yet. Johtarou wakes up, and together they defeat the sniper once again. But as Joline continues her conversation with Johtarou, she starts to notice discrepancies in their stories—then she notices that the wounds that the two of them suffered were completely gone! Joline discovers that what had been happening was all an illusion and, upon waking up, she realized that the entire meeting room, including the people in it, was being digested by some unknown entity!

TENNIS NO OUJI-SAMA
by Konomi Takeshi
Started in #18, 2000 (2 volumes available)

Overview: Echizen Ryouma is a seventh grader with a god-like gift for tennis—so much that even though he's a southpaw, he can play really well right-handed! As one of the starting members for his school, Seishun Gakuen, Ryouma is playing his way through a tournament. He is currently playing the second singles game against Shinji, who seems to have a few strange quirks of his own.
This Issue—Genius 36. Muttering - Ryouma wins the first game of the match. During the break, Shinji starts to mutter to himself about how he needed to teach Ryouma a lesson by winning. The teammates knew that this was when Shinji played his best; this gets proven in the first serve, a twist-serve just like the ones Ryouma served in the first game. Shinji still feels something is missing—then Ryouma decides to switch back to his left hand to return-ace the next serve.
