by Katsura Masakazu
Started in #19, 1997 (14 volumes available)

Overview: Ichitaka and Iori had overcome their doubts to have
a wonderful relationship. However, with Iori cooped up in her
theater production company, and all correspondence moderated (or
purposefully lost), Ichitaka was wondering if their relationship
would survive. Just then, Ichitaka got a call from Isai, the boss of
Iori's theater company...
This IssueEpisode 138. Firm Commitment - Ichitaka
decides to make the appointment with Isai that the producer wanted in
the company of his two friends, and explains what went on that day.
Yasumasa tells Ichitaka that Isai just wanted to say he wanted to
"borrow" Iori until Christmas, but Ichitaka replies that they wanted him
to break up with her. The two friends tell Ichitaka not to give up, but
that determination starts to fade when Isai tells Ichitaka that if he
had the guts to die for Iori, he had to kill his emotions towards her so
that she could blossom as an actress. Ichitaka tries to argue, but Isai
leaves, telling him to die for Iori's sake... then in Isai's place, Iori
arrives in the room.

all of his beasts into bugs!
This IssueBattle 169: Barricade - Haga
(LP:2300) laughs as Katsuya
(LP:2000) turns both his Panther Warrior
(2000 off/ 1600 def) and
Haga's Pasasite Paraside (500/300)
defensive. Haga summons a Fighter Ant (500/1200)
and kills the Panther with his Insect Queen
(3000+1200/2400). The Queen lays another
Insect Larvae (1200/def), but Katsuya smiles
and claims he found the weakness to Haga's insect combo attack. He summons
Gear Freed (1800/1600) which is all-metal
and cannot become a bug, and kills the Larvae. Haga,
LP down to 1700, takes the
offensive with the Ant and then tacks on the Ant Multiplier
magic (which turns one ant into ten) and attacks with the Queen
(3000+4400 off). Katsuya counters with a
Gravedigger trap, and pulls out Insecticide from the grave
to kill the Queen. Katsuya finishes the game by attacking the
monster-less Haga with his Gear to put Haga's
LP down to zero.
