Production Notes...

Nothing is free of changes, especially for a volunteer publication like us. The past few
months have been a period of rather drastic change for the faces and hands that create this
publication; when I joined the EX crew as part of the production crew
a little over two years ago (back in issue 3.5),
I never thought that I would be managing the conversion of ideas into a form that people
could read on the Web. Now that I actually am, I would like to get up onto the little soapbox
(so to say) and thank the following groups of people:
First, I would like to give a big round of applause for the staffers who are still
giving us their enthusiasm and some of their free time. Without you, the transition from
old to new would be even tougher than we can ever imagine, and there would be less articles for
everyone to read!
Second, I would like to give big pats on the back to the staffers who have retired and
gone on to a bright future. That includes my predecessor Chris, who I never got to meetTom
wasn't kidding when he mentioned in last issue's prodcution notes
that AX is the best shot we have at seeing each other!
Third, I would like to give a warm welcome to our newest group of contributing writers
and staff. It's always great to see new faces and hands helping create a bright future for us!
Fourth, I would like to thank all of the people who we've interviewed for their
warm friendly auras as we grilled you for all sorts of info... and a thanks in advance to all
the people we will be interviewing in the future. "Doumo arigatou gozaimashita... soshite korekaramo
yoroshiku onegai shimasu!" so to say. ^_^
And, last but not least of course, I would like to give a huge "Thank you!" to
all of our readers from around the globe who tune into us with each new issue. Whether you like
our reviews or hate them, please remember that they are only opinions, and your mileage may vary
(especially taking culture, religion, and all those fun things in mind). In the end, please
remember that we really appreciate the support that you continue to give us. For that,
we can't thank you enough!
Rika Takahashi
p.s. I am honored when fellow staffers mention me in some positive way, but don't get me wrong;
I do not force them to say as such.
Disclaimer: the above words are only Rika's opinions, and not those of EX.
Comments about the above, both good and bad, should be directed to
fuu@apricot.com.
