PUBLISHER/EDITOR IN CHIEF

Charles McCarter

Since starting EX, Charles has felt the death of five billion asparagus people and seen the horror of SAMURAI PIZZA CATS. As he waits for a generic form of prozac to become available, he is often caught trying to untie the straps of his straitjacket.

ASSISTANT PUBLISHER/DESIGN EDITOR

Keith Rhee

His motto is "A boss says 'go'. A leader says 'let's go'." And we all know because we see it 100 times a day as part of his .sig. If he's not careful, Charles is going to 'let him go'.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONSULTANT

Chad Kime

Chad has his fingers in everything--EX, Running Ink, to name just a few. No wonder he's such a slow typer.

COPY EDITORS

Peter Cahill

This frustrated English major enjoys editing articles, camping, and video games, although not necessarily in that order. Once he graduates, he expects to quit his part time job and then figure out what he wants to do with his life. Send him suggestions.

Roderick Lee

"Here today, gone tomorrow," should be his motto. This world travelling database boy often drops off the face of the earth for days on end, coming up for air and to copy edit a few articles before boarding that next plane...

WRITERS

Eugene Cheng

He's this guy who wanted to write for us. So we let him.

Ken Cho

This once and future journalism student divides his time between a real job, watching anime, and something else that I probably shouldn't mention, since he's currently in the Witness Relocation Program. Oops...

Eri Izawa

Our ninja writer, who delivers articles in the dead of night when no one is around. One of the more silent members of the staff, but that certainly isn't from lack of things to say. She's dangerous enough with a pen--don't give her a halberd!

Mark Johnson

One of our former Japan correspondence now returned Stateside. Actually, he's returned to Canada. Since returning to North America, he has wanders the upper reaches of Canada searching for good ramen and a place to buy the Kodomo no Omocha CD.

Egan Loo

A veritable font of information, both useful and otherwise. Egan overdosed on Macross at an early age, and the Minmay songs have finally got to him. When he's not working for EX performing Q/A, he's pursuing his career on the tennis court.

Maria Munoz

Hailing from the Windy City, Maria is, in addition to being an anime fan, a video game priestess as well. In her spare time, she likes to... well, actually I don't know. But I'm sure it's interesting.

Taku Otsuka

Taku is the one responsible for maintaining our upcoming Japanese release list. His shelves are loaded with so much manga that they are buckling under the weight. If you suggest that maybe he ought to cut back, he just says, "Stupid cheap Ikea furniture."

Orin Starchaser

Then there's the writer formerly known as Orin Starchaser, now represented by a symbol not supported by HTML code. Our other former Japan correspondent, Orin has recently returned to the United States to pursue his degree. However, before he can do that, he must disentangle himself from the year's worth of bureaucracy and paperwork that piled up while he was living in Japan. Pray for his soul.

HTML CREW

Chris Kohler

In for a penny, in for a pound: Chris offered his HTML help to EX and got more than he bargained for. Now he's one of EX's HTML hackers and has been too busy to regret his decision...

Tom Larson

As if school and building his own web pages weren't enough, Tom volunteered to help with the HTML -- and promptly got roped in. Tom is now learning the vagaries of proper table construction and image optimization techniques inbetween homework assignments.

Mark Simmons

The mere mentioning of Gundam launches Mark into rants about Minovski physics and Federation politics and Jion ideals and... you get the idea. When he's not making a set of icons or bobbing his head to techno music, this veteran newtype of Gundam fandom employs his scripting skills to make the lives of his fellow HTML crew members easier.

Eugene Moon

Last but not least, there's Eugene Moon, our latest victim... er, volunteer to help with the layout.
